Default Tricks to removing fuel line from damper?

So I was going to powdercoat my fuel rail the other day and remember why it was still in the engine bay...I can't get the send line off the fuel damper! Are there any tricks to getting this off? Is it a common difficulty? All the other lines on the rail came off no problem.

IIRC, you just need strong, even pressure. If it's really on there tight, you could try some PB Blaster or the like. When I removed mine, it came off pretty easily.

If you're interested, I've got a stock low-mileage fuel rail just collecting dust. PM me for info. I'm using a Lindsey rail so I'm not looking to get much for it.

Just be sure to counterhold it, because the tab it mounts in will bend if you pull too hard.

Yeah, that's what I've been doing, but I've started to strip the fitting on the hose still. I'll probably just buy a new rail and cut the fuel line since I'm already going to be replacing them with braided lines.

Have you tried squeezing two wrenches together -- that's good for lots of controlled force. Sure you're turning the right way?

Lefty-loosey, righty-tighty right?
It was the two-wrench method that I was using that started to strip the fitting

I'll give it a good soak in PB-blaster overnight and see if that helps any.
