Uhmm, I have been reading about ball bearing turbos. Maybe I should save for bigger injectors, and a nice Ball bearing turbo. 400hp944 what type of trim do you have?

Good question. The invoice says: Stage 3, 60-1 hi-fi, wet, stage 3 turbine wheel, 8cm hot, ceramic bearing. Not sure about the trim.

btw what's about the k27/8? Even though it's old school, isn't it a more balanced turbo than the k27/6?

K27s are old school but nothing has been as reliable KKK until garret released ball bearing stuff .

i remember an old thread saying that the KKK exhaust housings are very small so a #8 was smaller than the smallest of Garrett stuff.
as Porsche felt the #6 hot side was too small for a k26 250 hp car i realy cant understand why people want them on 350hp k27 cars

People chose them because of their price, and reliability.

Also, that thread vs the SRT-4 was when I was on stock turbo and failing wastegate. A decent K27 will have no issues with a stock-turbo SRT-4.

Correction, 60 Trim is a 53# turbo, the 60-1 is a 61#.
