A friend just purchased a 2008 911TT. Full Promotive upgrades. Car cost the owner over 200K and it only had 8K on the clock for $80,000.

My 951 has much money into it, and I did it because I wanted a wicked 951. I don't expect any money in return, nor will I ever get close to what I've put into the car. I can state that driving my 951 is about as much fun as you can have with your clothes on.

I enjoy driving my car more than any other car I've owned or driven. Hard to put a price on that.

The money investment on these cars is based upon pure sheer joy, it's the fun, the boost addiction, the satisfaction that a 4 banger will kick a$$ and blow V8's, that's sums it all, anybody buying these car for the marquee it's not only delusional but also retarded.

I am with you George I like my 951 for what it is the most enjoyable fun money pit I ever had besides my wife.

I couldn't agree more...and this is probably the most true statement about these cars on this forum! It should only take one time behind the wheel of a 951 for non-owners to understand!

The funny thing is that the same ebay seller is listing a set of sliver Gucci ‘dog tag’ cuff links and the matching Gucci ‘Twin Double Dog Tags”…

So 911 guys are the gold chain folks and the best we can do is Silver dog tags…!

It is a little overpriced, but I don't think you can build it for that price.
