Anyone have, or is familiar with an Evolution bypass valve? (bought from paragon)
Hi,
I took my OEM bypass valve off a few months ago, was in the process of rebuilding the throttle body, went over seas and now am back to put it back together.. I forgot which way it goes. Could anyone help me out? Which picture is right? (Big pipe on top is from the inter-cooler to the throttle body, the bottom big pipe is from the air filter)
Picture 1:

Also, that black plastic piece on top does not give me a tight seal to the vacuum line. Whats up with that? Should I use the older J boot for the vacuum line instead?

The top picture is correct.
The black fitting spins around a little, that is normal.

ahh yes it does spin around, but i mean the actual hard line that plugs into that black fitting. It seems the black fitting it too large, or my vacuum line is too small and it easily pulls out.
mmMmm I will have to check out Hoagie Haven when I finish this

You need to make a rubber connection to the black fitting. There should be a rubber U type fitting between your hard vacuum line and the black fitting on the valve.
