Do you think we could convince a wheel manufacturer to produce their wheels in 5x130 bolt pattern? I know it's a long shot....
Maybe go through a wheel vendor and ask them to ask the wheel manufacturer. They could be the exclusive porsche wheel dealer for the company...
The reason I ask is because I'm finding things like this:
http://www.wheeldude.com/catalog/ind...14_117_219_125
... a page of wheel sets for $700-850 (ALL FOUR) that would fit great on 86' 951s. You would need spacers on the rear but all four wheels are the same offset and you could swap front to rear. (or do true rotations, but I don't think any of us are running tires that are not directional)
I asked an Evo buddy of mine and he says lots of people are running Rotas and they're less than 20 pounds each!

mm the 17x9.5 sets look nice just get those adaptors and it takes care of the spacer needed at the same time
I have a set as i picked up a set of rays for 400$
genrally they are made far far away and there often isn't adequite material in the wheel to increase to 130 pcd just get the adaptors

Conatct to one of those chinese wheel manufacturers and tell your needs. They will make you a similar wheel with Porsche pattern & ET about $80-$100/set. You just need to order 500 sets.

I had a set of 18x9.5 rota P45R's on my evo, they were an alright wheel, but not as light as you would think. i don't know the exact weight though. I don't think I'd buy another set of rota's though, esp for a Porsche, they just felt to "cheap" to be put on a Porsche.
