I have everything all wired up, and the first green light comes on. I can load the software and once I changed to com port 3 it no longer gave an error code when I start it up. However, once I load the fuel map file it says can not find hardware =/
The cable I have is a usb to serial to serial to usb cord. I'm unsure if this is what came with the unit originally or not. However, when I plug the unit into my laptop the computer wants to look for driver software so I assume that means it's connected somewhat.
I'm using vista 32 bit also. Any ideas?

Long story short, when I try to hit connect it says Hardware not found =/


Never mind I fixed it. Had to go to Prolific's website to download the usb serial converter drivers. Solution for future askers lol.
