Default 944s 16v engine

i have a line on a 944s 16 valve engine. what would be a fair price to pay for the complete engine including all acessories. (this is the 104mm bore right??)

How much would i be looking for to do a solid engine rebuild? and if anyone has parts please send me a description and price that you are looking to get

Thanks

Make sure the cams, cam rails and chain are in a good condition. You will need to pull the cam cover off. A damaged 944S head or cams can be expensive to fix.

i found a couple of questionable ones a year back for around 1K. All claimed to be running, but not in car.

Don't forget to turbo it too. lol

Any particular reason why you want one of these motors? What are they like to drive in comparison to a normal 8v n/a?

that engine is a bit of an orphin not good for hot builds as they are not very interchangeable with any thing else ..
so the block can be used with turbo stuff but the head wont for a 3.0
