Nice! I have an Agilent bench scope, but that would be quite nice... lots easier to move around

Be advised that if you elect to power it from the car battery as Brina suggests, then the probe ground/shield is no longer floating. -This means that you can no longer measure differential signals (which you can if you power it from either an isolated -"wall wart"- type of supply, or a dedicated 9v battery or similar.

I have a couple of Tektronix bench storage scopes and one Tektronix portable LCD. -This is a great price, though I would naturally recommend fitting it in a case to protect it.

...Mind you, they label a switch "Y sensitivity" in the picture.

Wouldn't that be the "X sensitivity"? Y is surely the timebase as shown.
