magnaflows, tips are quite a bit wider than stock.

Unless it's supercharged it is not making that kind of power.

I've had an e34 M5 (silver) and an e39 M5 (carbon black, #234 IIRC). I absolutely love my e39, without a doubt my favorite car I've owned. However maitenance is pretty expensive. Cheapest (and IMO best sounding) exhaust you can do is cut the 4 rear mufflers off and straight pipe it.

i lied, it was 351 rwhp, 330 ft/lbs. Still pretty fast though

Had an early production E60 most problematic car I ever owned over 120 days in shop 1st year. BMW offered no assistance had to litigate to return they fought hard. Others signed a silence clause to return.

E39 better car.

i have the jim conforti software as well. not sure i believe their HP gains, but there is definitely a notable increase in throttle response.
