My spec weight for Estock is 3049lb with me and all my gear in the car. With my old TurboS it was 3148lb, I had the weight right at spec.

I want to be at spec weight with 1/4-1/2 tank of fuel, and a bigger battery, and with a cool suit (which I don't have in). I would like to get to the point where I have to add ballast to get to spec weight.

Its much easier to manage weight knowing the car has to be virtually full of gas at the start of a race, plus my car starts to misfire once the level gets below 1/4.

I have to believe its my cage that is making the car heavy. Its a beautiful, cage, mimicking the factory Matter cages, but it carries a fair amount of steel.

I could go lexan, but lexan has issues too, and would rather not go there. I am hoping to get there with the things I still have left to lighten.
