I actually broke down and bought the PET CD so I haven't tried it in Win7.

Have you tried running it in WinXP compatibility mode as the administrator? I've had success with a few other older programs that way.

run it in win xp mode in windows 7 that should work, you will need win 7 pro or ultimate and a processor that supports virtualzation

333 you are right I tried the site because PET 6 is currently unavailable everywhere I tried. I got transfered to a site that charged $4.87 for a "trial membership" then only $89.73/ month. Membership is to Mega Flix, **** DVD's. Called number listed to cancel but they were not taking any calls so I cancelled my card.
Still lookin for PET 6
