I finally found THE Car. I wanted to thank all of you for sharing all your experience and knowledge which enabled me to find a great Turbo S. I do have a question about the warranty card because it doesn't list a single option code. Has anyone seen this before?

I did, it is exactly like the one in the warranty book... blank.. it does list the AOR tranny but the option codes section has nothing.

I certainly will. I was trying to upload a photo of the car but I guess new guy's don't get to... ? I did go to a dealership and they provided the options on the the car, everything is there from M030 to the Turbo S package. I can't understand how the usually meticulous Germans would produce a car without the option codes.

Upload the pics somewhere else, like tinypic and use the IMG tags to post here.

Thanks, I really like how this community is tight. The car had excellent maint. history. The new belts had just been retensioned, after being broken in, right before I bought it.

C'mon with pics
My previous 88 Turbo S went up to the Midwest and then was for sale again and I am curious if this is my old car...

You don't have to be a member to post pics, you do to attach though.
To get around that, upload your pics to something like tinypic.com (what I use) or photobucket or anything like that. Use the IMG tags in your post to display the pics.

Mine was an 88 in Silver Rose - if yours is an 89 guess its not my old one then.

I just wonder what happened to it.
