So I have a line on a set of 205/55/16 snow tires for a decent price... Is this acceptable? These would be going on my 16x7 16x8 wheels.

I know its not much tire for the back, but narrower is better in the snow, right?

Narrower is better. I'm running 195's for the winter on my S4 that normally has 225's
205 will give a slight stretch on a 8" wheel but it'll be fine.

That's pretty narrow... but if they're a killer deal, they're probably worth it.

Get that control arm back on?

I've run 205s on 16X7s and 8s. Worked great, no issues. 944s are rather good in the snow.
