Well was out driving with my brother a few weeks ago. Nothing out of the ordinary then suddenly i heard a clunck sound from under the car like something traveled under the car. It first i thought it was a stone or something like that then 30sec later i got a new sound like something flew into the floor. I noticed that i had lost my PS steering . Did not bother doing anything to the car before now 2 weeks later .When- I ONLY HAD 48 HOURS TO GET MY CAR READY FOR A TRACK EVENT.
After a inspection under the car i noticed that the strut holding the PS pump was missing one of the two banjos, the pump hung by its oil lines and a bolt on the PS pump was broken. Need a new belt also :-(
What did i do PS DELETE!!
here are the broken things .
And my replacement pump (i always have a 944 storage with spare parts )
As i had a leaking fuelrail i decided to get it repaired and at the same time install the LR fuel lines i bought some time ago. All i can say is that they seem like a great product what i liked also is that it included the small pipecutter etc. The installation was mostly straight forward stuff the hardest being trying to remove the inner fender plastic shielding. I would guess it took me 1,5 hour at most. The results .
Getting my PS back together was not that easy though , Here in Norway people in the auto stores dont work between saturdays 14:00 and monday 08:00 So i could not get my parts even if i wanted before my track event was all ready over .
I got a good idea "Not really" i could get rid of the AC and use my Lindsey AC delete kit. Something that would turn out to be more than a little problematic thanks to John@vitesse¨s Turbo . If i only did a Search on the AC delete before i started i would probably saved that nice job for my mechanic...
Anyways here is my kit.
Do you think i got my car ready in time 5 hours from now ?
Finally i got some fresh new hardware to go with the AC\PS

Time to update this thread with some dated information and hopefully something new and how the car looks now next month .. My car does not look like this in the current state but i can still update the build-thread backwards in time... Sorry about the pictures they were mostly done from a phone
The last years has been hard on the poor 951. The engine has suffered from oilpickup failure, Rod baring failure. Worn piston rings and Oil leaks just about everywhere + cracked AOS.
Not to mention i have broken several crossover tubes and 2 sets of headers .
[
The car has mainly been running on E85 with 22-26psi of boost. Headgasket is a widefire gasket.
Although allot of people claim that they have problems with headlift (and broken head gaskets) i have not had these issues the past 2 years . Headstuds are new stock ones torqued to spec .
For E85 the car is currently equipped with:
*Bosch 044 pump on a separate wire circuit .
*Stock fuelfilter modified for better flow and Converted to AN fittings
*Vitesse setup with 83lb injectors
*Wasted spark ignition with NGK (BRP7ES?) and stockish wires as the magnacore crap fell apart.
*Vitesse camshaft (moves powerband a little higher)
*Slightly ported head.
*3" Exhaust and 38mm tial wg
++
Things that was suppose to be installed but never finished as car stays today in workshop.
-Big radiator with oilcooler
-SFR Intercooler
-New intercooler pipes
-LR cooling hoose kit
-Fresh rebuilt HEAD
-one piece OPRV
-some Lart bling
-Steam vent kit
-LR fuel rail
-put the engine back together "again" with all new bearings and gaskets.
