Default Picture: Is this my clutch fork shaft?

Hi,

My car is a 1986 Porsche 944 Turbo and I recently removed my starter so I could replace the clutch slave cylinder and noticed this _thing_ which appears to be related to my clutch fork somehow... Is this my fork shaft? If so, any advice on how I go about fixing this?

Any help is appreciated, thanks!

Yes! Shove it back in with the flat side facing that 6mm hole, and put in a 6x1.0 bolt with a nut on to lock it in place.

Thanks for the quick reply, and an answer that doesn't require me to remove the torque tube!

I recently had the exact same issue. I thought my clutch was toast! Was a great day when I found the shaft hanging out like yours.
