Default rear wing 90-91 944 turbo

Anyone know were to get an original rear wing for a 90 and 91 style rear wing? Not the 89 and previous style.

Europe...seriously. Junkyards there have them fairly often.

Earlier than 90 was rubber, 90+ was S2/968 style I think is what he is referring to?

968 hatch may be youR best option in the US. Otherwise you have to screw around sourcing trim and modifying a 944 hatch to accept.

pistonheads.com (England) has links to several breaker yards (junkyards). Quite a few of them there...not cheap mind you, but in the States when they are going for upwards of 6,7, even $800 it isn't a bad option. Just a hassle.

That looks pretty good, it really updates the car. Changing out the whole hatch seems like the way to go though for sure.

Thanks
Canada still had the 90 and 91 turbos but I haven't seen any for a long time.

ok, anyone know which offers the best aero downforce? I want more rear end grip and wa considering the GT rear wing as it needs to be stock legal for my class?

It would be extremely intersting to find some offical numbers from Porsche about downforce/lift for the old rubber spoiler versus the later 2 piece wing.

Oh, if I were to guess I would think that the later wing creates the same reduction in lift as the old one but with less drag.
