Found a little bit of oil in my coolant reservoir...
I think it may be my oil cooler gasket and seals, it's running great either way, anyone have this problem before?

You either have an oil cooler leak or a leaking headgasket. When my headgasket went I had oil in the coolant.
Do a test for combustion gases in the cooling system. That will tell you will quick.

Thanks, when my headgasket went over 2 years ago , I had coolant on the plugs and the engine, and I was smokling white coolant steam, my mechanic determined that it's the oil cooler and I just bought the kit for $40...

Had the seals and gasket for the cooler changed, flushed it out with water and a little Formula 44 degreaser for a few minutes, bled the air out, then put in distilled water and Zerez G05 and problem solved, running like a champ, a little oil came up which my tech would be normal, took that out, now it's fine....

It's been a month so far and I am still getting oil in the reservoir, but it desn't loose coolant or oil, just flushed again and put new coolant in and changed the oil, black oil comes on top of the reservoir, fresh oil is clear, I am thinking maybe the problem is elsewhere...

It's the weather. It has gotten extraordinarily cold in the state. This happens during the winter. Our cars never see freezing temps like everyone elses do.

My HG went last month i thought it was the cam tower gasket since oil fell on the crossoverpipe. I had No Oil in the coolant and no white smoke from the exhaust.. Just another example how it was the HG when most thought it was not..

How did you determine it was the HG, what signs did it give you? The oil that falls on my crossover is from the oil pan, no visible leaks around cam tower...

well the oil trail started at the Headgasket and went downwards.. And ofcource it was hard to spot "behind the engine" and wall. At first i thought it was the oilpan gasket then i noticed the oil was from further above. Aha i thought has to be either the rear balance shaft seal or camgasket. I would suspect the Headgasket if its a long time since its been changed. Oil in coolant or coolant in the oil are normally due to a faulty HG..

There is still oil in the coolant
It's been over a month since I changed the oil cooler seals and there is still oil in the coolant, everyday I fill the reservoir with water to overfill the oil in in it, coolant flushed, car runs fine, vacuum is reading 17-18 hg, how can I diagnose what the problem might be without taking anything apart?
