Anyone know the size threads that screw into the block? I'm going to relocate mine and use a different sender.

Or, I used a 24mm crowsfoot from amazon (came in a set for $11 shipped) in combo with a 1 ft socket extension, and then a ratchet wrench from where the tire normally is

Used a 24mm wrench to get it out today. Replaced it with this and relocated the sender. No more leaks either....

I have it located right below the power steering reservoir. For a couple of reasons. I got a kit from O'reillys that included the 1/4an fittings and a clear plastic hose. I wasn't too fond of a plastic hose but thats all they had. It does only have relatively low pressure but it is close to the header that has me worried. Did some searching for a 1 foot stainless line and came up empty handed. I hear that Auto Meter sells 1 foot lengths. So far no leaks and seems accurate. But who really knows....

Sorry iPhone pics....

Every one should own a set of pump wrenches!
So that's what those are called !! Damn that's expensive
This car was made for those "pump wrenches"
I wish Harbor Freight carried those

+1

Pump wrenches are one of those things that, once you get them, you can't believe you ever lived without them. I use mine all the time.

My OPS wrench is the open end of a 15/16 wrench cut off, then I welded two 5/8 nuts to the "stub". Instant crows foot.

Didn't like the plastic oil line so i got a two foot braided one from Summit for $20.
Think it will be more reliable.
