Default Cam housing torque

Who here has used more torque to hold down their cam box then what the factory spec is ? What torque are you using?

Clarks garage is your friend. They have all of the assembly instructions most people need for home fixes. The Cam Tower is torqed to 14 ft-lbs. You have to remember that you are putting a steel screw into an aluminum block. Over torquing can be a problem.

Thanks... I installed the bolts " wet " not dry so I increased the torque a bit to compensate. I put mine on at 18lbs.
