This showed up on my door step today!

The parts buildup has begun!

I wanna buy one of these...anyone have a pic of it installed...my understanding from Tim is that it's not a stock replacement.

Tim M did this install writeup... He reports needing minor dremmel work for fitment, and he used riv-nuts for mounting, but for the most part it is a drop in part....

Not sure what Tim may have said but my install steps were listed in post 33 of this thread:

https://rennlist.com/forums/944-turb...lection-3.html

I probably would not say it's "minor" dremel work -- I did need to get in there and make some room...

OOOOO sweet sweet mother of god. If I was still in the game I'd soooo have one of those. That GB was one of the best one's I've seen on the list in a long time. Very very needed and a STEAL of a price!

F*U* John. Enjoy it you crotchy old bastard!

If I already had my new toy done. I'd buy it just to keep it for what if purposes.

I may be old, and I may be crotchety... but at least I'm gettin an iron for Christmas...

AND...as yet another 22YO part has decided it doesn't like playing my game... I MAY have had my schedule accelerated for my winter project tear down... SOOO I might have to wait to begin enjoying this piece until OH.... about spring time?

Go figure bits don't like temperature changes... DAMN THE MAN AND HIS SYSTEM!

LOL.. no worries... UPS had their way with the box... it was even still sticky...

no harm done, still a beautiful piece..almost afraid to install it as it gets almost completely hidden... it should be showed off... toying with the idea of painting a smiley face on it before install.... might be able to see it through the openings in the bumper....

No reason for a replacement... it will work just fine...

Now on to worrying about my dead pedals (clutch and brakes... damn rubber seals) ...

Tim offered a replacement without a question... but I see absolutely no reason for it... were I worried I wouldn't started this thread in the first place... I'm just happy to have such a shiny new piece to install..

Thanks again Tim, I will be calling on you guys again soon...
