There's a lot of parameters that comes into play. Weight, spring rates, tire type etc.
Have you analyzed any pictures of your car in corner?
With perfect temps and wear do you mean uniform, or do you mean with a slightly higher inside temp and wear? IMHO perfect uniform temp readings means not enough camber.
Most tire manufacturers recommend more camber than -2.2.
Here's 2 auto-x pics, as can be seen the camber really comes into play.
18" Bridgestone RE540S tires, Bilstein Turbo Cup 450/650 lbs springs, 968 M030 sway bars, solid bushings etc.

Regarding the headlights - I agree - the car looks better with the stock headlights. But I didn't switch for looks.
The machine is a cyclo copy (around $50)
