Thanks all, been waiting for a while for a set to come along local to me... didn't feel like spending the coin that DC Auto wants... got these for the cost of the wheels... but the tires are almost brand new.. local lister threw a rod and is selling car to someone who has plans for it, but didn;t want the wheels...

I immagine they should clean up real nice, and look real good on my 951... now to find out if my P-car dealer has the 18 inch alignment adapters.. I usualy use sears, but they cant work with wheels over 16 inches in diameter (lack of adapters... they did my last alignment with my PDs on and them mounted my 17 inch twists..)

Any advice for running 18 inch wheels fitted with 245 up front (on 8 inch wheels) and 285 in the rear (on 10 inch wheels)????

they are 18x8 et 55 fronts, 18x10 et65 rears with indicated tire sizes fitted.. came off a same year 951, but I don't think his car sat nearly as low as mine..I guess I will find out when I mount them to the car..good thing I got the adjustable camber plates!

Hey John! Nice!

I was the same in waiting for a long time for a good deal on nice used wheels.

I also run 18x8 and 18x10, lowered 1.5-2 inches lower BUT my fronts are only 225 and on full lock turns they will rub a bit. i also have the same offsets as you.

The rears are no issues of rubbing but the rear fenders come down slightly over the tire. Just makes it hard to get tire dressing on the top. lol

Sweet, I fit em up as soon as I have a chance (might have to wait till this weekend).. And I'll se how everything looks... as long as everything fits up I'll do some speed runs with GPS to make sure the speedo is still on... it is dead on with my 17s...

I got the car. I wanted the wheels but he had made a deal with you. Being the great guy I am I didn't want him to break his agreement. My 5yo daughter likes them also. I found a page full of 944s with different wheels, asked her which ones she liked and that is the set picked. Then she asked me why I didn't get them.

Nice wheels mate!

I run 245's on an 8" rim up front, and 295's on a 10" rim on the back with zero rubbing issues on my 88 951.

And an indication of the ride height:

Edit - My car might be a bit higher than yours .... aussie country roads are crapola

Thanks a lot, I'm gonna try to get em mounted on the car today and I'll post pics of the finished product...

PO didn't have any rubbing, but then he was sitting at stock height, I'm about 2 inches lower...
