So right now how different is your voltage at the pump vs. the battery?

13.7 batt, 12.3 pump / idle

That is a problem. The only thing I can tell you is you need to follow the power wire to the pump and check it where you can going back to the pump. You are losing 1.5v somewhere.

I'd run a new 30A relay back there and be done with it. Heck I just did a dual relay on my new magnafuel pump on the stang. I know of some shops that gut the checkvalve on the pump to increase flow, the problem is the car starts really hard, lots of cranking, I tried it myself.

If you remove the check valve, the key just needs to stay in the "run" location for a couple of seconds, the the car will start like normal,
It's been so long since I've driven a car running the DME, I don't recall if this is possible.
I'm also running the pump off of a relay, with the pump grounded to the chassis
