Cheers,
I hope everyone has looked at the cost of a rebuilt TT. I am expecting the bearing set to cost about $600.

For the time and effect it took to develop a superior part, and the time it takes me to R&R a TT, $150 per bearing is a fair price.

Timing sounds good for us too. Working on a website but for now all ordering is through Rennlist and is why we became Rennlist sponsors.

Hi Brian,

Thanks for the support about the pricing!

Yes, developing these has been a blind faith sort of endeavor, "build it and they will buy it" sort of business plan. We have sunk some good effort to get these to market, rubber molds/molding/vulcanization are not cheap methods, especially when having to make a few molds to get the exact dimensions perfect. The outcome we feel we be readily apparent to anyone who gets them and uses them. They will not be the cheapest method to rebuild torque tubes but we feel they will be the best money can buy, at any price.

Happy Holidays,

Soon! Although we want to get them out and start selling them, we want to take our time to ensure they are perfect for the end user. The wait will be worth it, we promise!

We've also just completed testing on a universal rebuild tool for both the 944 and 928 that DIYers can use to rebuild their TTs at home much easier than other known methods. Much more transportable than a TT. Core charge will apply for the tool with the purchase of a Super Bearing set which will be refunded after the return of the tool.

This tool can also be purchased by those who want to offer this service at their shop for customers.

Will show it off shortly.

Cheers,

Looking forward to seeing the final tool! It made all the difference in the world in re-assembly. Still loving my bearings, by the way.

Mattipuh,

Still finishing up the tool(s) we designed so no tools have yet been shipped anywhere.

Olli,

Good to know there are those who already rebuild torque tubes in Finland! That will make it a lot easier for those wanting these new bearings!

One thing to consider, our tool does not use a threaded rod that goes through the bearing units. That type of tool can potentially ruin our new style bearing units by eating up the inside rubber.

Cheers,
