Default Anyone know where to get a Dynatech strut brace?

I'm looking for a new strut brace for my race car...any one know where I can get a Dynatech?

If I can't get one, I'll probably just buy another Brek Krause but I do like the design of the Dynatech better.

Thanks much,

Rick

Seems like last time they were made it was a big batch about two years ago, and they haven't made any since (that I know of). You might be able to get them to make some more if you can get enough people interested in buying them.

From what I researched when looking for mine, the last group buy was the last batch to be made. I don't exactly know why, but they quit making them.

They pop up used now and again (that's how I got mine) but look to pay a pretty penny! Mine was ~300.

Do strut braces really provide a noticable improvment ?

Well, the distance between the shock towers moves by something like .125" when the car is on jack stands or on the ground. So there's a considerable amount of flex in that area of the chassis.

Not worth it unless you have solid strut mounts.

I agree and disagree!

I have seen as much as .125 (1/4") movement of the shock towers when I lift a car up.

I think the second comment is in regard to 'feeling' the improvement. I belive the main benifit of a strut bar is to greatly decrease metal fatigue form the flexing. You may not feel an improvement right away but taking out that much long term flex can only be a good thing.
