Hello everyone. Been reading the posts for a while, and decided to post a question of my own. I just recently bought an 87 951 and during the restore of the interior I found where the cable connector for the steering wheel airbag has been cut clean from teh steering column. Possibly from brake peddle being pressed or maybe even the clutch. The wire is too short to be able to splice it back together.
Is it possible, or advisable, to splice it back together with paddle connectors and do away with the circular connecor that is on it?
Appreciate any advice on this.
