1/4 mile info, stock K26/6 car
I am trying to guage how quick are cars are with only a chip and exhaust change. I am debating on if I want/ or need a different turbo since the new engine is going into the car soon. Please post 1/4 mile times for a stock K26/6 car with only a chip and exhaust as a mod. Thanks!

With a chip and exhaust I would say low 14's or high 13's. The trick with these cars is getting a good launch.... if you could get a 1.8 60 ft time you could probably do mid 13's with the mods you listed, but it is hard to do without killing your clutch.

Don't have an exact number, but there's a bone stock 06 STi in KC that has ran 13.00 in the quarter (amazing driver) and from a 40 roll to 115-120 I ran dead even with the car. I had an authority chip. 238whp/248wtq.

Well, I'm running on a stock turbo, but I have a 3" straight exhaust and open dump. So far, my car can hold of STi's and even an Evo 8 (verified the other night). I may have chips or something, but I AM at stock boost, so I'm not sure how the car is pulling it off. Basically, my car is even with mid-13 second cars.
Let me add that this was not from a stop. Just ran across these cars and had a little fun. An AWD car like a Subaru or Evolution would destroy our cars from the line. Hands down every time.
