I had a 928 as well a 951, if you buy the correct car you wont have any mayor problems and the cost to own is very similar if you do you own work and just buy the parts. Recently I just replace my trans fluid on my 928S (9 quarts of Mobil 1 $59, filter $12, pan gasket $8 total $79) took me one hour to do the job.

If a shop does the work, the 928 is more expensive. If you do the work yourself, a 928 will be more expensive because of the therapy and chiropractor bills.

^^^you can spend nearly $40 k at discount and indy shops to get a 968 engine from birth to 300k+ miles.
but, the alternatives of driving something less the 944/968 platform would be worse.
do you guys miss disco and these old threads?
