Ok, I got a full hatch from a fellow RL locally.

Problem is, now the new one wont release with key or switch. I tried pulling and wiggling and it will not open and release.

???

Are the hatch pins aligned correctly?
Or could the assembly have been damaged?

You might be right about the pins being aligned. I might have to un bolt it and re set it in again.

I would imagine that it's a PITA to install? Then there's the cost of finding a spare hatch in OZ. Not cheap.
I think if someone was offering these for eg $695US complete it would be well worth it. Having said that, I had a look at the Pelican thread and it's dated back to '04 so I'm not sure about that guy still doing his thing??

Don't look to different to a windscreen to me.Hatchframes are always going to come up for sale.
