Cooling hoses, and some thoughts to replace them
I'm not running the turbo water pump on my engine, and I have removed the little thermostat in the water pump neck so that water flows through the turbo at all times.
With that design I no longer need the 951 coolant tank so I'm running a N/A tank instead.
As the logical next step I want to remove the stock coolant hard pipes and I'm looking for a setup with as few hose clamps and plain rubber hoses as possible. Anyone here done this?
At least AN fittings at the turbo, since that is the hottest area, along with nylon braided hoses. It would be nice with a CNC adapter instead of the plastic water neck at the water pump too and run an AN fitting there too.
Any thoughts, ideas, pictures?
