Default DME/ Tach question

Ripped out a bunch of ****ty Blackwidow security and power door aftermarket stuff on the red car that the PO installed as well as some huntley racing crap. Somewhere between start and finish, the tach stopped working. Anyone know which wire into the DME is the tach? Need to try to trace this problem back. The electrical wiring nightmare that he did would blow your mind (well... most of you, some have run into similar rats nests I'm sure!) He was pulling power from all sorts of places and soder and shrink tubing were apparently unheard of because he just stripped wire to tap into power and used gobs of electrical tape. But I digress. Just need to be able to trace back the tach wire to find where the problem lies. TIA fellas!
