Default Radiators

I need a new Radiator for my 951, it's leaking at the plastic bits, and it just falls right out when it's pressurized.

I noticed that SFR has a radiator that looks pretty nice. It doesn't look like there is any plastic on it. Looks pretty solid. Just a little pricey at $800 USD. Are there any other alternatives over the stock one? I might just end up getting a new stock one. I assume they are good up to about 80k miles.

That ebay radiator looks pretty good. I don't trust ebay that much though.. Something to consider anyways. Thanks.

Here is a logical question. Is their a good reason why Porsche decided to use some plastic parts in the radiator? I'd like to know, because .. honestly i trust Porsche a little more than Ebay.

and my next question is, do i need any aftermarket parts? i.e. Fuel Lines etc etc.... Porsche are not idiots... or has technology improved so much that there are things to consider ( I KNOW LINK ENGINE MANAGEMENT IS GREAT THOUGH)

I have an unused Group 1 Griffin radiator that I'd sell, if you're interested. I just haven't gotten around to listing it on the classifieds.

Bought it as a "just in case" deal and never needed it.

Is it oversized? or a drop-in replacement?

I bought and installed 4 of these and they work outstanding. In 110 degree temps, with the AC on, I"ve yet to see above the middle in coolant temps when used with a lower temp switch and thermostat. I have a 110 mile commute, spend a lot of time in bumper to bumper, and push it every chance I get.

yeah I got mine from Tim @ SFR very clean and well constructed but if your not going that route try checking eactuning.com (OEM) they seem to be reasonable on most of their items

Sorry bro.

Sad fact is my car has probably gone less than 500 miles in the past year. I just don't have time for this hobby anymore. So I've got a boatload of parts I'll probably be unloading.
