So the report back on my engine is not good. It appears #2 piston and cylinder are toast. In order to fix this one I would need to sleeve the block. I've already written off the June Zone 1 event at the Glen. I do not want to miss Tremblant in July. So I'm curious what's out there for a possible replacement engine. I'm looking for a known engine. I guess the ideal one would be a 2.5 long block that's been professionally rebuilt and the owner has now decided to replace it with a 3 liter turbo. I do not want a run of the mill used engine. I want to know what the inside looks like and a Seller who will stand behind the quality of the engine.

So what's out there??

 

Would a 16V 2.5L turbo work for you?

There is a user on here Max Energy, he has a turbo S engine low miles. He was asking 3k. I was considering it until I picked up an engine w/ DTA s-60 standalone that came with it. Hoping to drop it in this weekend.
