Thanks. It has about 114K so I'll just add that under the "while it is apart" catagory.

Really? I've had so many people tell me otherwise? I was hoping that was causing the excessive driveline slack and vibration. Anyone want to offer an opinion as to why I'm seeing so much slack?

not sure why ur having that problem.
when i pulled my clutch out one of the springs in the center was sticking out sideways and being ground down.
maybe a couple of your springs just fell out? that would cause tons of slack

I'd also suggest replacing the trans input seal. It's a $15 part and takes ~1 minute to replace w/ the trans out of the car.

May also want to consider replacing the drive flange output seals on the tranny as well. $2 seal and 1 bolt each side so very easy w/ the box out of the car.

Nope, no 951s with the rubber puck. 951 had spring loaded clutches, and on the original stock discs sometimes those springs would break or fall out, and cause some symptoms like a bad rubber center (driveline slack etc) or nasty grinding noises.
