Default Shop in No. Va. for hatch reseal

Is there a shop or someone that will perform this service in Northern Virginia? (no I can't do it myself ) My engine is out for a rebuild and will be taking care of a host of items while this is being done.

Oh, comeon... Hatch reseal is WAY easier than engine rebuild... well maybe not but it can be fun... and it really isn't all that easy to shatter your glass... Sorry can't help you out with the NOVA area though...

Try pitstopmotorsport in Alexandria, VA. He's got a new shop in Chantilly also if that's closer to you. Call this number and ask for Minh: 703-212-0900.

I have an extra hatch thats been resealed (properly, I might add) within the last six months, if you are interested. Shipping it won't be cheap tho. I'd like to get $600 for it, plus shipping.

JohnKoaWood - I did my due diligence with the search function and knew this question had a difficulty rating of 9.5. Listers are running from this thread.

mudbuddha - I visited Minh's Chantilly shop months ago about something totally unrelated. I will contact him next week. Thanks for the lead.

sh944 - I will keep your offer close in case none of the local resources pan out. Thanks.

I spoke with Minh specifically about my own project and did see the dyno towards the back of the shop but it wasn't operational. It probably is now, will find out when I call in about the hatch reseal.

Cool. Please let me know if possible on the status of the dyno when you get a hold of him...Thanks in advance. Minh a is a stand up guy and knows what's he's doing...not cheap but solid work. Not sure if you let them work on your car before or now but just in case you are wondering.
