I'd either take a 930, 964 or 993. I LOVE 996's, but something about them... I dunno. I have a hard-on for 997's. I'd easily take one of those!

The 996 is a great car, I would hold out for a factory Aero car if I were to start looking, but that is a personal preference. As with all cars there are a few common failure items such as RMS, but not a deal killer by any means. For the most part, parts are no more expensive for the 996 than they are for the 951.

Having owned a 997S also, I can tell you it is a great car and I would buy a nice 996 for the low to mid 20's long before I would buy a 4 year old 997 for 50K. I will however say that after driving a 997S with PDK and sport chrono, it is high on my want list in a few years. That will give it some real time on the road to see how it holds up.
I am not a small guy and the 996 fits well. It can easily be driven daily or on a long trip, and would make a great DE car that you can drive to the track and to work on Monday in comfort.

I bought mine Sept. '07 for $22k. High miles, but a new factory engine.

Speaking of school, we should go flying some time! And I still have your computers and the e-brake cable. (And do I still owe you an answer about suspension stuff?)

Haha listen I listen to Hammer too much

I'm down to go flying anytime we both have some free time. Let me know a day of the week you are usually "free" and if the weather is good and I'm free I'll take you up.

I wouldn't mind your thoughts re: my suspension and I was wondering if we could throw my car on your lift and see if we can get my rear wheel somewhat in alignment as it scaring off every alignment shop I also put on a bunch of new parts and really cleaned up the car, I want you to replace the mental image of my car from what it was
