Default A question for those with a quick release wheel

what brand will work for a 951? Im about to put in my fixed bucket seats and with out a sliding seat rail I think a quick release steering wheel hub will help out a lot with getting in and out of the car. Any help would be great.

Yes...I have one in my car today. I believe the hub is a Momo product...the quick release is the one shown at http://www.tekniqauto.com/US/home.htm.

Best,

Rick

the brand I run is called "snapoff" or "snap off" or something, it has a cone + oring, so supertight! it's a MUST

I've had this unit for several years (with an extended hub) and have been very happy with it. Very little play in the wheel when attached. It's the same one Rick linked to above:

TC Racing owner used to race (maybe still does) a 951.

I have a TC I'm not using right now. PM if you want to try it. It's going back in in a week or two.

I can't say enough good things about the TC. I've seen the spring-ball-bearing-release style fail before on the track... But (knock on wood) I've never seen a TC fail.
