hey folks,
what kind of vacum readings are you getting at idle(warmed up of course) and at cruising speeds? i'm only reading about 14 inches at idle and less at lots of different cruise speeds. i'm trying to see if i'm in the ballpark, or if i need to look for something going on. car runs well, have checked for vacum leaks, and have an Autometer Boost/Vacum guage installed. any and all input is welcomed!! thanks
marco
mods on the car are APE MAF w/chips, Mufflex 3"catback exhaust, LRBE and a mildly ported cylinderhead w/fresh valve job

I am seeing 19-20''hg at warm idle, that is with every hose and vacuum line replaced.
Cruising on the highway, it varies..but a perfectly flat road, with the throttle just barely open to maintain my speed i usually see between 15-18''hg. This will vary depending alot on road conditions, like if the road is perfectly flat or if im going uphill (uphill i will see much lower vacuum #'s).
Mods should not have much effect on vacuum #'s unless you are running a cam also.

18-19"hg at warm idle. Vac while driving depends on how you're driving, hill/flat. Try to keep your gauge on the psi side, then you wont be worried about your vac! haha
