Default 993 wheels for a 944 Turbo S

I have a set of somekind of aftermarket "hart" wheels from a 993 that I had and I tried to fit them on the 944 Turbo S but the center bore on the wheels is just too small maybe a couple Milameters.
What is the best way to fix this?
Can you just sand/Grind down the center spindle a couple mils?

Does the center piece on the spacers get smaller then?
