The KISS oil cooler is supossed to be used in addition to your stock cooler - it does not replace it.
Also - I am not quite sure about the wisdom of buying a used oil cooler....if the previous engien had an "issues" you may be getting a cooler with some extra stuff inside. Coolers are notoriusly impossilble to clean after a failure.

The beauty of the Kiss set up is that it includes the oil lines that hook up with the stock oil cooler line to allow it to go into the system. They won't work if you bypass the stock cooler.

If you just want to replae the stock cooler you can get a mocal or setrab cooler and make your own lines / adapters...
