i didnt get my cam tower powdercoated but this second time around im deffinetly sending it out. I just painted mine with like 12 coats of high temp black

That's gonna be a great project. I need to do the same sometime and get my motor out for an all around inspection (and replace a bunch of parts too)!

Looks like a fun project. One thing I noticed that my car doesn't have is the caster block mounts had studs, my car has bolts. Anybody else have studs instead of bolts for the caster blocks?

I see you did the JEGS tape wrap on the exhaust. did you wrap over the facory heat shields? Reason I ask is one of mine was broken (the fixed one, no flex) so pealed off shields by drilling out spot welds. The weld was broken so rewelded. Now I don't know if I want to mess with the shields or just give her a good wrap and be done. Would be more room on that tight side for sure if would contain the heat.
