Default Please, post you idle oil pressure!!

Just changed a oil to 5w-60 Belray superbike oil as to pro car racers suggestion, and now wondering about idle oil pressure, it's down to 3bar, i dont ever remember seeing so low!!!! hmmm..........
What do you think? Should I be worried?

Is that a hot or cold idle? What oil and Idle pressure did you have before, under the same conditions?

At start up just under 5 at idle, when warmed up 3.5 -4, after driving around a bit 2.5 -3. I've had it drop as low as 2 at idle after some hard runs during an AX event. New oil pump and using VR 20-50

As ehall states makes a big difference between start up pressure and after driving for some time and even more so if you're running it hard.

The car is about 30k after rebuild. It was not lower than 4bar under hot idle. And always up to the gauge even with a little rpms or cold.

What do you think, was it a good idea to use a premium motorcycle oil in a car?

Your guy probably had you run motorcycle oil due to it's increased ZddP content.
What oil viscosity were you running before?

Engine sounds different after oil change, it seems that oil is very light, actually it does sounds worse than previously. I can hear a lot more of mechanical stuff, a crankshaft I think.....
Racers are telling me that everythink is fine, but I am still worried about that.

Due to cost, I run Valvoline VR1 Racing 20W-50. My pressures are higher.
