Default Painted CPR V1

Has anyone painted their CPR V1 splitter? I'm going to be buying one of these soon, curious to see how this looks, particularly on a red car.

Thanks
Mike

From the pics I've seen the black splitter balances nicely with the black spoiler.

I was planning on painting mine but after test fitting it I chose to keep it black.

Reminded me of this..

Oops, sorry that is the before pic... Still hooked up to the boat...

Still black, Test? Was thinking about painting it also, but figured every other tool with one would paint it... I hated the red car when I bought it..but the color has really grown on me... And I like the contrasting splitter...

Not painting mine. It integrates nicely with the existing black factory molding.

I just installed mine last night while I was out in the prepping the Sherman for a road trip. No comments about painting, as I left mine in the original finish and think that would be the best look imo, but I would think you'd need to mix in some flex with the paint to get it to hold ok.

Anyone else notice an increase in wind noise after installing the splitter? I was thinking it was my imagination at first, but I am pretty sure its not.

Regards,

I was the same way with my red 951...but I got such an amazing deal I got over it...and now I can't see it not being red. And that is after having a black one, and a garnet metallic one....red was just so over done.
Keep it black, don't paint it.

+1, staying black, painting twists black, respray body red... I really like how it is going to end up looking, keep an eye out for a thread...

No worries, that works well, Wife is currently in Hospital, So I am dealing with that, and next week we are gone all week on Vacation (she will be able to get the R&R she needs, and the rest of us can recharge... This has been long needed)...

I will place an order once I am back for clear lenses, not 100% if I am going to ALL of them right now, but I will at least order the fronts once I am back in town, after next Friday...

Thanks Man
