I disagree, that absolutely is not a helper spring, it looks like a smaller additional flat spring that contributes poundage to the setup.

I have Eibach helper springs on my cars and they are very thin flat springs that you can compress with your fingers. Those look like much thicker flat springs with an actual spring rate.


Helper spring, rate negligible.

Regular flat spring (dual coil, triple coil tender, etc).

I did some additional research, and yes, actually, that is a tender spring according to Eibach's web site, hot a helper spring. I'll update my post. Thanks for the clarification, now I see where to find info on this.
