Turbo S chips
I know the turbo S has 2 chips. When you "upgrade" chips do you replace both of them with new ones or just one. I recently got my DME III from Russell and I only got one chip. BTW, Russell has been great. I will call him also, I'm sure he will explain.

There's a chip in both the DME and the KLR modules... they are different sizes and perform different functions.
The DME controls ignition timing and fuel maps. The KLR controls boost levels.
If you got "chips" to provide some gain without raising the boost level, then you would have only a DME chip.
The DME an KLR chips are physically different sizes, so you can't put it in the "wrong" place.

Got it. In my case my car has a set of autothority chips but I still have the original chips as well. Should I replace only the DME chip wit the MaxHP chip or should I also replace the KLR chip with the stock chip?

Depends... which is the MaxHP chip designed to run with?
