Question Re Start 90 951

In have not started my 90 951 in over a year. Fuel has stabilizer, and octane boast.

How should i go about starting? pull the wires and turn over?

Car has 42,000 miles...

Thanks,

Doug

I've been there. My 89 951 started and drove just fine after 16 months parked in the garage.

Charge the battery
Check all fluids, tire pressure
(Might look for cobwebs)
Start and run for awhile

Then change the oil
Drive around and use up the old gas

Drain what little gas you have. It is super easy. You can get to the fuel pump right next to the gas tank with an easy lift. For the few bucks, just pitch it. The pump is so low, asi it should be, just let it drain. If you need direction let me know.

No, it's better to pull the fuse for the pump, turn over until oil pressure builds, then turn over with the fuse back in.
