A tight wrap of Scotch 33+, followed with a small controlled application of 3M "liquid tape".

Allow to set up at least 30 minutes prior to re-installation.

Will you hurry up and get that thing back together!

ahhh....gotcha. sorry to hear that.

The repair option I listed will work fine and last for quite awhile. I forgot to add to clean the wire back about 4 inches with rubbing alcohol/wipe/and allow to dry....THEN apply the 33+ and liquid.

techno duck just had a good idea. drop a bead of soder on it and then heat shrink it and then top it off with some silicone.

If the wire is not cut then don't cut it, which you need to do to properly use HS.

Just my .01...that's all I have left.

I agree with Patrick - liquid electrical tape is pretty good (I have a jar of the Wurth stuff around somewhere).

I doubt it will shrink down enough...

You could also clean it and smear it with silicone sealant...

I would only use the solder idea if the wire is partially broken or weak from being worked back and fourth too much (work hardened). Otherwise a drop of silicone or liquid tape as suggested.
