With search down, I am wondering by old 2.5 ltr turbo seems to be approaching death. Significant blow-by on down shifts, oil consumption 1qt / 200 miles. etc.

So since, I have a 3 ltr long block waiting. (supposed to be next year's project in this economy.) I was wondering what my 1987 long block is worth. About 176,000 miles on it, from title records and receipts from previous owners it has been through two (yes count them 2) engine fires.

What do y'all think it is worth? Maybe it could finance the new turbo and more...
