Great project!!!

I built one of the first AE86 20V Turbo cars in the U.S...which took me a solid 2years and more $$$ that I care to remember, the front half of the car was all carbon fiber. The car even had a Supra W55 tranny AND Supra rear end! Car dyno'd 270whp on pump gas at a mere 11psi. I eventually and sadly sold the car (one of my most regretful decisions)....but here are some pics of it.

Good luck on your project!

Those flares looks like absolute junk. Although, I can respect the function. But still...

Yeah thats the N2 kit, a TRD factory production race series kit as far as I know. Looks better in other angles, but basically its not for looks, all about function.

Very raw very pure. The N2 series is VERY cool. Check out some vids on youtube, close racing.

Cars make in excess of 200bhp from the tiny little 1.6l. Sub 800kg too

Heres the TRD car for any interested:

The purple tecart car in the video NZ951 posted claims 233bhp. Pretty ridiculous.

My buddy has a 800hp supra, and a 2JZ powered AE86. Also the previous owner of the supra (also my friend) has a TRD diff for the supra for sale. Apparently, its the best one.....

Too bad you can't run a 4A-GZE in it for some boosting fun on the track.

Quick Reply: I promise the next will be a Porsche, but here is the next project :)
