porschefig Do you know the correct offsets? We can email the site admin to update his table, or at least put a note near the link so people know the correct information

Well, I'm away from my car so I can't check this but Fergus (fbgh2o) posted:
Due to inconsistent information on the Internet, there is some confusion about early offsets. I found this created confusion when trying to figure out the right spacer sizes to convert early to late offset.
Here is what I have been able to figure out using the PET catalog.
All early phone dials are 23.3mm offset. This applies to both 7" and 8" wheels and for 15" and 16" diameters. Therefore when making calculations for offset adjustments you can use 23.3mm for both front and rear.
Fuchs with the following part numbers are all 23.3mm offset
951 362 115 90 (7"x16")
951 362 115 00 (7"x16")
951 362 117 00 (8"x16")
951 362 117 90 (8"x16")
911 361 020 41 (7"x15")
911 361 020 41 (7"x15")
The number 10.6mm is sometimes thrown around as both a front and rear offset http://www.cantonia.com/wheel_offset.html. To the best of my ability to figure this out, 10.6mm applies to certain 8" Fuchs (both 15" and 16" diameters) only, with the following P/N 911 361 029 42 & 911 361 029 94.

I am looking to fit 993 Cup wheels to my 87 951. According the the 911 Wheel Wights guide the 993 Cups are: 7.5x17/9x17 each with 55mm offset. Will I need spacers for these wheels?

Does anyone know how much and what angle I should have my hub centric bolt on spacers machined in order to clear the dustcap/hub of the front of my 86?

Ok...dealing with wheel fitment has always gotten my shorts in a bunch. This is great information guys. Thus, since I see some experts out there - how about the fitment of a set of Turbo Cup wheels:
8.5 x 17 - ET 52
10 x 17 - ET47
on a 1987 944 Turbo...are these going to be a problem?
Thx in advance for your help.

Badger - you should be okay with respect to offset but may need 7mm spacers to clear the dust caps.
highboy - The front should be okay, but the rears will likely stick out too far. I used this http://www.bigcustomwheels.com/info_specs.jsp to get the result.

Love to read it..
So a 9" wide wheel w/ ET 26.4mm (26.4=52mm - 1in) would fit all around? Would a 9" really fit the front of my 86' 951 w/ stock suspension and factory fenders (not rolled).

I'm looking at a nice set 18 inch wheels. But even with all topics about offset can't really find it.
Wheels are 8j 18 et 49 and 9.5j 18 et 52. I have spacers in 21/18 and 15mm. With the 21 spacaer on the frontwheels it will fit i guess. But at the rear?
